Prefabricated wooden house made with energy-efficient technology

The energy-efficient building has been divided into nearly 100 different prefabricated elements (walls, ceilings) supported with a frame made of KVH laminated timber and I-section beams. The building was insulated with blown in ecological wool made of wood fibre. Additionally, for full diffusion permeability of walls (“breathing” walls), we made the external cladding out of wood fibre boards and we applied a pre-wall. Energy-efficiency of the building is confirmed with a low heat transfer coefficient of U = 0.13 W/m²K. Covered area: 202.07 m²; Usable area: 276.66 m².
