Eco-friendly prefabricated buildings in a modern housing estate in Sweden

Five modern multi-family houses built using the energy-efficient prefabrication technology according to the in-house design of the Ecologiq design studio. The house was manufactured at our production plant in Gdańsk out of KVH solid timber and LVL laminated layered timber. We used materials from natural wood fibres supplied by STEICO for insulation. The external cladding, thermal insulation and the wind barrier have been constructed out of boards made of the above-mentioned materials, which significantly reduces heating costs. The heat transfer coefficient is only 0.14 W/m²K.
